Wild Thing
Monsterous creatures that romp in their jungle home with Max, their king.
Where is he from?
Maurice Sendak's beloved 1963 children's picture book Where the Wild Things Are was adapted into 2009's feature film of the same name by Spike Jonze. While none of the creatures are named in the book, and Pika specifically calls her depiction simply 'wild thing', the movie named that particular creature Carol, who was performed by Vincent Crowley and voiced by the late James Gandolfini of Sopranos fame.
