Miss Piggy
One of the great divas of our time, a star of stage and screen, A fashion icon, and a musical performer with once-in-a-generation talent. Also she's a pig.
Where is she from?
Miss Piggy started as a one-off joke on the Muppet Show in 1976, just one of the background pig characters, but she quickly developed into one of the stars of the show, then into one of the most important members of the Muppets, and then in to the feminist icon she is today. She was originally performed by Muppet legend Frank Oz before taken over by Eric Jacobson in 2001.
