Susan Pevensie Appearances
Despite the well-explored issue with Susan's dissapearance from the narrative after the first few books, She's still a major part of the initial narrative, which has been adapted several times.
Susan first appeared in the 1967 BBC serial The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, where she was played by Zuleika Robson, who would go on to play Jane Andrews on Anne of Green Gables. (sorry about the tiny picture, this was hard to find references for)
.Susan next appeared in the children television workshop's 1979 animated version of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, where she was voiced by Susan Sokol.
The first four books in the series (in publication, not chronological order) were all made into BBC serials between 1988 and 1990, all of which were just great. Susan was played by Sophie Cook who did amazing, but as per the original text, wasn't in the last season.
But of course, the absolute best Susan has to be Anna Popplewell in the Disney adaptations of the first three books of Chronicles of Narnia starting in 2005. The characters all became adventure heroes, and Susan probably made the biggest transition, looking tough as nails and just Katniss-ing up the place. The weird displacement of Susan's character is probably made that much worse here when she was such a pivotal part of what made the series so good in the first place, and the weird inserted romantic sub-plot of 2008's Prince Caspian didn't help. Still, Anna's version of Susan is amazing.
