Hobbes
A stuffed tiger with a penchant for pouncing and tunafish.
Where is he from?
The second character in Bill Watterson's venerated comic strip Calvin and Hobbes, which was sindicated from 1985 to 1995, and is held up as the last great comic strip. Hobbes is either six-year-old Calvin's stuffed tiger or he's an actual tiger and Calvin's best friend... the strip has no interest in establishing either reality as more true than the other. Watterson has fameously chosen not to licence is characters, so Calvin and Hobbes has remained forever perfectly enshrined in the original comic strips.
