Haydée Appearances
In a lot of interpretations of the original 1844 novel the Count of Monte Cristo, Haydée is removed completely and her utility is performed by someone else. If I had to guess, this is because a lot of writers want to have Dantès reconcile with Mercedes, but the fact that she is almost assuredly a person of color can't help.
Italian actress Cristina Grado played a character named Haydee in the 1954 French film, Le Comte de Monte-Cristo.
The 1975 TV movie starring Richard Chamberlain was a more direct interpretation of the original novel, and as such was one of the few versions to feature Haydée as she appears in the original story. She was played by French pop singer Isabelle De Valvert.
She also appeared in the 1998 Miniseries opposite Gérard Depardieu, played by Spanish model & actress Ines Sastre. This is another version of the story where Dantès gets back together with Mercedes, although clearly from their appearance in the comic, Pika prefers these two together.
