Kermit the Frog
A Frog,
Where is he from?
First appearing in 1955, Kermit is the main character created and performed by the creator of the Muppets and one of the best people ever, Jim Henson. Kermit was featured on almost every project under the Muppets banner, a regular cast member on Seseme Street, the series lead of the Muppet Show, and regularly apearing as a narrator in short specials. He was a window into the quiet wisdom of Jim himself, and I adore him on a level I find dififcult to express. After Jim passed in 1990, the character was performed by Steve Whitmire. Matt Vogel took over the character in 2017.
