Toast the Knowing
One of the escaped Wives of Immortan Joe, Toast is essentially a princess of the wasteland. The only of Immortan Joe's wives to have grown up outside the Citadel, she is a very capable survivor, even taking up weapons to protect everone. (It looks like she grew her hair since the movie...)
Where is he from?
Toast is a character from Mad Max: Fury Road. The Wives might seem on the surface to be macguffins, but this movies brillaint use of visual world-building gave each of them lives and stories of their own; Toast is very petitie when compared to Immortan Joe's other wives who are played by tall willowy models, and when you dig into the meta fiction this is because she was actually born a survivor in the wasteland as opposed to in the citadel, but was found and captured and forced to live as a slave. Toast is clearly a good survivalist herself because she's quickly put in charge of the weapons in the War Wagon, reloading for Max & Furiosa and even firing them herself.
Also, can we just take a moment to appreciate Zoe Kravitz? At first we all noticed her because her parents were so fameous, but she's been steadily carving out her own niche and at this point is pretty much a genre mainstay herself. That's really hard to do, and she's made it look super-easy.
