Death
The Grim Reaper... an anthropomorphisised personification of a natural process.
Where is he from?
One of the most popular characters from Terry Pratchett's Diskworld novels, Death has appeared in every adaptation of books from the series. First, in the two six-episode animated series from 1997, Wyrd Sisters and Soul Music, where he was voiced by Christopher Lee, which is just the most fantastic voice casting ever.
Death also appeared in the two live-action adaptations of Discworld novels, 2006's Hogfather and 2008's the Colour of Magic, both two-part television specials. In both, the phyiscal role of Death was played by 6'7" Dutch stuntman Marnix van den Broeke. In Hogfather he was voiced by Shakespearian stage actor Ian Richardson, but after his real-life passing, Christopher Lee returned to reprise his role as the voice of Death from the animated series.
