Mr. Darcy
A single man in possession of a good fortune who must be in want of a wife.
Where is he from?
One of the two main characters in Jane Austen's most celebrated novel, Pride and Prejudice. Mr. Darcy is the romantic foil for the book's point-of-view character Eliza Bennet, who often serves as an unreliable narrator where Mr. Darcy is concerned, as she sees him as insufferably arrogant, while other characters in the book continually seem to see him as a far more noble.
