Page 239 - "Diagetricks"
GND 239 - Erik & Mag talk about Jareth using his music while Christine & Raoul hear Sarah giving him an earful. Zoe & Wash are enjoying the ball.
Pika's text:

Your wiki-word of the day is ''diagesis'', and how it applies to 'Labyrinth' analyses. Because heaven knows the JS fandom with its precious few minutes of canon interactions drives itself a little bit crazy trying to work out exactly if and what is being sung out loud by Jareth and whether Sarah even hears any of it (... not that she doesn't have plenty to legitimately distract her from bizarre emo angry maybe-confessions during ''Within You'', to be fair)- and that ballroom scene seems to go from non-diegetic romantic background music by Bowie to ''wait he's mouthing the words to her so he's singing....'', which raises a few wonderings. This was poking some fun at that.
Not that Erik the ''Cue Organ Leitmotif'' Opera Ghost really has a leg to stand on, regarding diegetic logic. But it seems even in this meta comics-verse, the answer to Jareth's in-movie abilities is ''....magic, just roll with it''.
(Nor that it really matters in a comics-verse where Sarah is capable of watching her own film on VHS and possibly catching up on ''...the hell was THAT about?'', either...)
And, by the by, after some discussion with people in comments, I humbly submit ''Phantomaggia'' as the portmanteau name for the Erik/Blind Mag crossover ship.
... Yes, I know, that is a gorram cruel background cameo to be makin' in panel 3.

Terribly sorry for the obnoxiously long delay between posts, combination of factors. Like, it would even've been up yesterday but dA was acting screwy.
Next page will definitely not be so tardy.
