Gimli
The son of Glòin, Gimli is a well respected Dwarf warrior and member of the Fellowship of the Ring. He became the master of the Glittering Caves at Helm's Deep.
Where is he from?
One of the main characters in J.R. Tolkien's Fellowship of the RIng, Gimli was the lone dwarf in what was often an army of elves and men. This was likely to make up for the fact that the cast of the Hobbit was 92% dwarves.
Gimli appeared in Ralph Bakshi's groundbreaking 1978 animated movie The Lord of the Rings, where he was voiced by David Buck...
But of course, any mention of Gimli is almost assuredly referencing John Rhys-Davies portrayal in Peter Jackson's legendary Lord of the Rings movies.
