Sweeney Todd
A barber whose wife was killed before he was wrongfully sent to a prison colony for fifteen years. When he returned, he became a murderer, killing people and disposing of the bodies in the basement of his accomplice, Mrs. Lovett, who would make them into meat pies.
Where is he from?
Sweeney Todd the character originated in penny dreadfuls in the mid 19th century. He appeated in many movies and stage plays before the creation of Stephen Sondheim's brilliant 1979 musical Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street. The music was adapted into a feature film by Tim Burton in 2007 starring Johnny Depp, and that's the version of the character featured in GND. still there's some fun older versions of this character too, and we can look into them here:

GND 027 - Sarah and Christine have a girl's-only karaoke night. Neither Legolas, Sweeney, James, or Javert can watch the girls for Jareth & Erik, so it falls to Crowley & Aziraphale.
GND 045 - Since Christine & Sarah are spending the holiday with Raoul & Sarah's family respectively, they have an early Christmas party with James, Javert, Hoggle, Sweeney, Mrs. Lovett, Goblins and Random Chickens in attendance. Jareth and Erik are glowering, until they are given their early presents.
GND 047 - Christine discovers a tentacled monstrosity in her bathtub and screams, bringing Sarah, Jareth, Legolas, James, and Sweeney Todd, who all discover that it's quite lovable. Erik's imagination boggles.
GND Commish: Bday Psychos - In an out-of continuity comic, the building throws a b-day party for Byaghro. In attendance are Sarah, Jareth, Christine, James, Sweeney, Random Chickens, and visitors Will Turner & The Joker.
GND 059 - Sarah and Christine enjoy the spring weather, and befriend a bunny. Legolas discovers that it's actually the Vorpal Rabbit, much to the amusement of Sweeney.

GND 130 - Christine, Erik, James and Javert watch as Sarah gives a stunned Jareth a long-overdue berating. The ensuing row even awakens Sweeney & Frank.
GND 136 - Jareth asks around for advice about Sarah. He goes to Javert, James & Eponine, Sweeney & Toby, but no one has anything useful. Christine is frustrated he didn't ask her.
GND 229 - Cheryl, while waiting outside since Sweeney is crazy, is attacked with a flowerpot by Marsha & Dr. Frank. Legolas saves her and is then attacked himself by the Dread Bunny of Caerbannog. Sarah, Christine & Raoul watch the craziness.
