Page 149 - "Dear Prudence"
GND 149 - with Gip the Goblin free, Jareth and Sarah have a VERY interesting conversation about expectations.
Pika's text:
Ahem. You're welcome.
And yes, Sarah actually came prepared with stabby ninja hairpins what have a cool Japanese name I forget senbon needles/kansashi, thankyou, and unpinning her hair was even less innocent a move than you thought. Not that, y'know, she had the wits nor heart to actually do anything with 'em.
Oh yes, just in case you are distracted from the UST by your concerns for Gip's fate. He's gonna be fine. See, Jareth has been pretty good about not harming or threatening "Sarah's" goblins. This is, of course, a canny move on his part to not antagonize her, and ease her into her role as Goblin Queen. While a typical Fae ruler might see this as a miscalculation in that he is tolerating disloyalty and seditious behaviour, it is quite simply that the goblins who actually believe they are safe and free of him by switching allegience are far too stupid to be any real threat (not that he's not been taking names...), and the Sarah-loyal goblins who are smart enough to figure out what's actually going on with their King's courtship game - like Gip - are too valuable to Bog...
And if you're still asking what's in the box?... [link]
You need to remember who Jareth's mother is. In other words, you ain't nowhere near knowing.
