Kylo Ren
An extremely powerful weilder of the Force. He's also a bit of a drama muppet.
Where are they from?
Kylo Ren is the new Star Wars trilogies answer to Darth Vader; rather than a mountain of inscrutable anger and power, Kylo is a young man who has completely lost himself to his own anger, and is struggling with how ultimately fruitless and impotent anger really is. If the new Star Wars trilogy has any one success beyond how absolutely fantastic Rey is, it's the construction of this incredibly complex and timely examination of modern masculinity and the casting of Adam Driver, who is somehow able to embody all of that impotent rage and self-doubt and yet still deliver a terrifying villain.
