The beautiful slave of the Count of Monte Cristo, and a key part in his plans for revenge. They eventually become lovers.
Where is she from?
Haydée is a minor but very important character in the original 1844 novel the Count of Monte Cristo, a very prolifically adapted story. She isn't often included in those adaptations, though, so it's interesting to look at the ones that do here:
