Where is she from?
Irene Adler was a character that appeared in the Sherlock Holmes short story "A Scandal in Bohemia", published in July 1981. Despite only appearing in one story she's regarded as a remarkable character, held in high regard by Holmes himself. In adaptations of Doyle's work, she is often depicted as a romantic partner for Holmes, although this is never established in the source material.
